About the event

Little children, little problems. Big children, bigger problems.

For mental health awareness month, Client Talk is going to bring together Claire Rason, accredited coach and mother of four, and Zeynep Fricker, an experienced Humanistic Integrative counsellor to explore parent-related stress.

Participants will explore what it means to be the parent of a teenager who is finding it tough.

We will explore:

  • What might show up with your children and how to recognise their emotions
  • Self-care as a parent
  • Parent-guilt
  • Where to go if your child is struggling

This session is being run in order to support the work of Papyrus, a charity for the prevention of young suicide.

Zeynep Fricker is a professionally trained and highly experienced counsellor. She is trained in psychology and Humanistic Integrative Counselling and works with schools, and voluntary organisations, as well as providing short and long term counselling to adults. She is a Graduate Member of the British Psychology Society (MBPsS) as well as being a registered member of BACP and adheres to both BPS and BACP'S Ethical Frame Work.

Claire Rason is an accredited coach. She comes to this session in that capacity, but also in her capacity as "Mum" and in particular as the mother of a daughter who struggles with their mental health.
