ACCOUNTANCY CASE STUDY

CHALLENGE
An accountancy practice based in the heart of London wanted to help their partnership learn and grown. They are a firm that embraces coaching and they are passionate about creating a culture of open feedback and honest conversation. They wanted our help to gather peer feedback from partners.
WHAT WE DID
Using our active listening approach to gathering feedback from key stakeholders, we conducted a series of meetings where we asked partners what they thought of each other. Feedback was handled sensitively and presented in a series of individual reports which set out:

what each partner does well;

their contributions to the partnership team;

team empowerment; and
-
points for further development and growth.

We were also able to contextualize the feedback with differences across the group in terms of behavioural traits, using the results of psychometric tests.
RESULTS
The individual reports helped increase self-awareness across the partnership. This is a key ingredient to be able to grow as a leader. The culture of the firm meant that these reports then provided a basis for individual coaching, which has helped partners grow and develop further.
